Keith Blackman

Keith Blackman, has over 20 years’ experience in network television news and public relations. A highly regarded media and presentation trainer, Keith spent eight years as a Senior Director in the Public Affairs practice of Burson-Marsteller’s Washington, D.C. office where he worked with a wide range of spokespersons, including C-Suite executives, helping them for media interviews, panel discussions and presentations. Keith also provided communications and media training in group settings.  He also led messaging and brainstorming sessions.

Before joining Burson-Marsteller, Keith spent ten years as a producer for NBC News Washington where he was responsible for gathering story elements and cutting news and feature packages for NBC’s TODAY show, NBC’s Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, NBC’s Nightly News with Brian Williams and MSNBC programs. Keith also served as a White House producer overseeing planning for NBC’s coverage of presidential trips and events, both in the U.S. and abroad and managing logistics for correspondent reporting from the White House.

Clients with whom Keith has worked include the U. S. Department of State, Bank of America, AARP, Hormel Foods, Colgate, Hampton University, Purpose Built Communities, United Negro College Fund, NextVR, Intel, AstraZeneca, Ford Motor Company, Special Olympics, Blue Star Families and, Accenture.

Keith, who was born in Sekondi, Ghana, grew up in New York City and Barbados. He is a graduate of Stanford University where he earned a B.A. in Film & Broadcasting. He also holds a J.D. from UCLA Law School. Keith is fluent in French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
