As a former CNN and CNBC Senior Correspondent, Allan Chernoff offers high-level communications services to corporate and not-for-profit organizations, drawing upon his unique background as both a senior partner at a global public relations firm and one of the nation’s most experienced and honored business broadcast journalists.

Chernoff worked with Fortune 500 CEOs and C-Suite executives to crystalize messages, build narratives and raise their presentation skills to perform to their potential in the public spotlight. He also customized client media strategies, crafted opinion articles in top-tier publications and arranged high-profile interviews.

Prior to his work on behalf of corporate leaders, Allan Chernoff was interviewing them as CNN’s Senior Correspondent. For 11 years he reported on-air for all CNN television and radio networks, wrote for CNNMoney.com and CNN.COM, and frequently served as CNN’s economic and personal finance analyst.

Among his honors, Mr. Chernoff is a six-time winner of best reporting awards from the Society of Professional Journalists’ New York chapter, Deadline Club. He has won two National Headliner Awards; two New York Festival Awards; and a Prism Award. Mr. Chernoff’s reporting contributed to a CNN DuPont Award and his coverage of the Gulf oil spill, Hurricane Katrina and analysis of economic issues in the 2008 presidential campaign were each part of CNN’s Peabody Award-winning efforts. His writing contributed to CNN.com’s 2011 Online Journalism Award from the Online News Association. The University of Maryland and the Sidney Hillman Foundation have also honored his work.

Mr. Chernoff is a graduate of Brown University and earned an Executive Certificate in financial planning from Fordham University.

He has written on business, foreign affairs, travel and sports for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Los Angeles Times, and Money, among other publications. His book, The Tailors of Tomaszow, is a communal memoir and history of Holocaust survivors, published in 2014 by Texas Tech University Press.

Allan Chernoff sits on the board of the Deadline Club, is a member and former officer of the New York Financial Writers Association, a member of the Authors Guild, a career advisor for Brown University and has been a featured speaker at various charitable events. Mr. Chernoff was an interviewer for the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Project.
